The PI Challenge - More Information

The computation is done by using the algorithm described in On The Rapid Computation of Various Polylogarithmic Constants by David Bailey, Peter Borwein, and Simon Plouffe ( pdf version ).

However, we use the formula

which is slightly faster than the Bailey-Borwein-Plouffe formula.
